Bushmanland

Well worth seeing is a traditional village in the Bushmanland. As a visitor, you can experience old traditions of the Bushmen - originally called “San” –, create jewellery or learn how to handle bow and arrow.
 

This project is managed by the community of Grashoek itself and funds generate income for the local people.
 

Hoba meteorite

Close to Dornhügel you can see the biggest metallic meteorite ever found on earth. 80,000 years ago and with a weight of 60 tons, it banged into the farm Hoba and is now one of Namibia’s famous attractions.

Lake Otjikoto

Otjikoto Lake, surrounded by high dolomite cliffs, is a national historical monument of Namibia. It During the First World War, German troops dumped weapons and munitions in the lake. Today, there is a small exhibition and a park.
